My group found its way to the scrap metal pile that a group member had used earlier in the day, and collected an assortment of obvious and abstract representations for each letter. The "y" turned out to be the most difficult of the four letters to find and/or put together, so we improvised with a hose that was rolled-up where the "a" later hung.
Everyone has a different perception of what playing really is. It can be in the grass or on a rug, with a computer or with a baseball, etc... as an artist, I play with ideas and perceptions. I play with the new and the old, and attempt to merge them into one harmonic being. And, every once in a while, it's good to take a break and spray someone with a hose.
But only those who work hard can play hard. |
